Almost any person of any age has grown accustomed to the joys of using Stereo Systems. People are more interested in using table radios as they are available in a wide range of prices and sizes. These systems have all the capabilities that one would find in a home theater system and they are adjustable to fit the decor of any home or lifestyle. One of their best qualities is that you never have to worry about whether or not your table radio will fit the configuration of your speakers. All table radios are most likely to fit and be classified under one of three categories--Hi-Fi, Mid-Fi, and Low-Fi.

Hi-Fi Configuration

For those that want their table radio to also serve as their main stereo unit, the units made with a wattage measurement of about 40-100 watts per channel will most likely prove to be of high quality and amazing power. Systems that are made from Dolby Pro Logic technology are compatible with any Dolby surround sound system and generally have the circuitry equivalent of an entire audio home theater.

Most Hi-Fi systems have a price range of about $400 to $2,000. The actual price that you purchase your table radio at will depend on what other features would be included and how well the sound quality is. Most table radios are made with built-in CD players as well as sound that is best suited for when you are in an overall quiet area.

Mid-Fi Configuration

If you need a table radio that would be better suited in a moderately loud place, such as a child's bedroom, or if you just want another table radio that is not as powerful, these mid-fi table radios are ideal for you and fit into a much better price range. Of course, it all depends on the features that come with it. These usually range from a cost of about $200 to $400, with all the bells and whistles included.

Low-Fi Configuration

Low-Fi table radios are probably the lowest price that one would pay for a radio model, with as high enough sound quality to play similar to the intensity of a boom box and their portability cannot be beat. These generally cost about one hundred dollars, and are adaptable to play CDs and tapes. It is easy to see why these low-fi table radios are both flexible and reasonable for any purchaser.

Some of the more popular features included onto table radios include one or two amplifiers to enhance or take away the overall sound that is being produced; two to five speakers that can also affect how much sound gets produced.

They can also come with an AM/FM tuner that can play radio stations if you do not have your own music to play as well as multiple disc CD changers to experience more than one source of music or audio without changing disks if you do have your own music. Dubbing, tape decks, and subwoofers are also other popular features.
